This event includes kids & adult workshops with visiting teachers, rodas, graduation ceremony and so much more! The Batizado is the ‘baptism’ or initiation into Capoeira for new students which is combined with the Troca de Cordas ceremony where dedicated students gain their next belt level. Mestres and teachers from around the world will be coming to Calgary to put on an event you won’t soon forget! We look forward to expanding our knowledge of Capoeira through various workshops, rodas, and music classes. We hope you can make it and together we can grow the Capoeira community in Calgary.

All proceeds go to supporting our local Capoeira group so we can continue to teach and grow our regular classes, put on special events, expand the group, and work toward building a bigger and better Capoeira community in a positive environment.
